OurAfrica.Travel and the whole travel and tourism industry has long been known as an industry of passionate individuals and like-minded companies all striving to provide the best experience there is to offer. Whether that is on the beach in the Caribbean, exploring temples in Cambodia, yoga retreats in India, or sipping a cocktail watching the sun go down on a South African safari. One thing for sure is that we are in an industry that prides itself on relationships and networking, trade shows are exactly where these relationships are formed and bonds flourish.
Due to COVID-19 we have all missed seeing each other and creating new relationships and solidifying existing ones. The pandemic has forced many businesses to relook at how we can once again network and be together again. A few amazing colleagues of mine have come together to do just that. Rudi Wagenaar and Allie Hunt (Inspirational Places) and Storm Napier (Atmosphere Marketing) are taking it upon themselves to ‘take Africa to the world’.
These amazing individuals have created OurAfrica.Travel a new virtual meeting platform for the travel trade to have pre-scheduled one-to-one, face-to-face virtual meetings. Over 16 days buyers from around the globe will be able to once again connect and re-establish those lost connections.
For 3 weeks the global travel trade will be able to once again “meet” and discuss everything Africa. I urge partners to join in on this amazing opportunity.
