We are a family business with our roots in the tourism and hospitality industry. We pride ourselves on taking time to fully understand your product, and work with you as an extension of your company. During our 18 years in business, this has resulted in long-term relationships with clients whose brands we love.

Originally established as a “traditional representation company” we have evolved into a multi-faceted tourism marketing agency. Offering our clients, representation, and digital marketing, all dedicated to tourism.

We are a family based in Somerset in the South West of England, our offices have both the digital marketing team and us working together. We cannot forget our Chief Barketing Office, Trevor… the Champagne Cockapoo. He is constantly making sure we are providing belly rubs and snacks at every opportunity.

What we do

Founded in 2006, Talking Stick Global represents a selection of the best luxury and experiential tourism products across the world. We are known for our unique ability to nurture and manage the relationship between our partners and the outbound travel industry influencing a higher volume of potential bookings.

As your UK representative, we take on various roles and responsibilities to promote your product, this will be by managing client relationships, and ensuring your product maintains a positive image in the market. Throughout the year, we will conduct sales calls, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events, to secure tour operator partnerships, which leads to strong relationships with the UK and Ireland operators, agents, and OTA’s.

Overall, as your UK and Ireland representative, we play a crucial role in driving business growth, maintaining high standards, and ensuring your product remains competitive in the market.

The Team

David

Managing Director

David joined Talking Stick Global in 2011 and has been in the industry for 13 years, with his experience stretching from Product Manager at a luxury London tour operator to moving to the Middle East, Dubai to be International Sales Manager for luxury hotel brand Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts and before returning to Talking Stick Global in 2024 he was the Country Manager for Abu Dhabi Tourism for the UK and Ireland B2B and B2C UK market.

His responsibilities included sales, commercial, marketing, strategy and contracting. David was recognised by the Travel Trade Gazette as one of the “30 under 30” young travel professionals in 2017. His time across multiple sectors of the industry has meant his knowledge and understanding of our industry are invaluable.

Marc

Director

Marc founded Talking Stick Global, in 2006. Marc, has over forty years of tourism marketing experience in a variety of senior management positions, of which his main market responsibilities have been, the United Kingdom, North America, Canada and Australia.

His experience covers international tour  operations,  hotel  group marketing,  boutique  hotels  and lodges, and adventure tourism. He provides a wealth of knowledge to  clients,  innovative  strategic planning, and years of contacts.

Adele

PR Director

Adele has over 25 years of marketing and PR experience and is an Africa specialist. She has organised over 150 press trips for specialist journalists, writers, celebrities, influencers and bloggers to every corner of safari Africa. These trips have generated over £50 million worth of coverage in the United Kingdom and international media for her clients.

Adele has trusted relationships with industry insiders and the travel media to generate newsworthy stories and targeted feature ideas developing travel stories that generate high impact exposure. She has experience of launching new lodges, villas, destinations, activities, and airline routes across Africa.

Juliet

Account Executive

Juliet was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to the United Kingdom in 2023 upon finishing her education. She began working for Talking Stick Global at the start of 2024 and Juliet is enthusiastic to continue learning and developing her skills. Tourism being one of her elected subjects at school has helped her to understand the industry with ease. Travel has always been a passion of Juliet’s and she is thrilled to be starting her career in the Tourism Business.

Zoey

Digital Marketing Director

Having started her career working in a big London agency specialising in paid media, Zoey was head-hunted to work in-house for a global agency based in Dubai. Her time in the online marketing space has seen her run campaigns on multiple continents and across a multitude of platforms.

Zoey moved back to the United Kingdom with her husband, David and together they started Talking Stick Digital. Today, Zoey and her team run a diverse client portfolio consisting of lodges in the Lower Zambezi, specialist Africa tour operators and national tourism boards such as Washington DC and St Helena Tourism.
